I remember those days in college well. Wanting to be done with school so that we could get on with our lives. But if I had ignored all that God wanted me to do while I was in school, I never would have found such great friendships as I did in people like you and Mike. Looking forward to hanging out with you all again.

Chris,
What a great post and I can totally relate to. Seems like I am always impatiently waiting/wanting something. I can remember back to those college days of us waiting to get married and it just didn't seem like it would ever get here. Then it was jumping in to buying a house probably sooner than we should have but we got inpatient. I think with my 30s (all 6 months of it) waiting and showing patience is one thing I have learned even more. Through the Blessings of Matthew Kelly's writing I have found inspiration on this exact topic and of course through the Bible.

Tell Faith and the kids hello for us. Keep at the hard work for the weight loss. Hopefully this summer maybe we can get together bc it has been way to long since we have seen you guys.
