I got to thinking the other day how I would go about finding Jesus strictly using the Internet. I know that there are a lot of churches doing online services and forming online church communities. But where do the big search engines of the Interwebs direct someone in their search for Jesus? Will it point me to churches, information, or personal blogs?
I am going to stick with Google, Yahoo, and Bing to see what they can teach me about Jesus.
They all return the same first result. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus But that is where the similarities end.
I plan on detailing my search results over a series of posts to try to figure out how each of them want me to find Jesus. I am really just curious because I was thinking about where I would start learning about Jesus at this point in my life if I had never been to a church or exposed to Jesus.
Ok…you really need to use Zuulu to do this. It is like a comparative Bible, but with search engines. Wach engine has a tab. All of the "biggies" are thereplus a few lesser known engines. It is nice for flipping back and forth between search lists. Take it from a consummate researcher, Zuulu rocks!
That is a good idea. I will definitely check that out.
