Its May-Madness

March is usually the month associated with the madness of college basketball tournaments.  For my family, the month of May is the month of madness.  May is full of family events and keeps us busy all month.  The list begins with birthdays followed by Mothers Day, more birthdays and cap it all of with Memorial Day and more birthday.  Throw in a little weekend family trip and you have a month full of booked weekends.   I think we have most of it planned out well enough.  Now we just need to get the van fixed and things will get a little easier.

What is your busy time of the year?

    Great blog…
This is usually the busiest time of year for me as well…I usually (not this year) have Hockey Playoffs, 2 Birthdays (mine and my in laws), Mothers Day, last day of school, vacation etc etc…plus I toss in the fact that I sell to schools which adds to the overall mix with last minute spending etc.
    Totally crazy..

Wow. I totally hadn't thought about the school thing. When my kids get older, May is going to kick my tail.

August is always the busiest time of the year and it doesn't seem to slow down again until after the holiday hoopla. I don't mind a full calendar as long as I am able to maintain some sense of work/life balance. In the midst of a hectic schedule it is easy to loose sight of what tasks are truly important and just get lost in the minutia of living. Enjoy the time with your family!

This busy time of year works good for me because we will take some time in the summer to relax after all of the craziness.

For methis time of year can best be characterized as the calm before the storm! The new background works much better!

I changed the background. Hope this works better for now until I can figure out the issue with the comments background.

This is better. At least the white type is on a darker background.
