Everyone has a unique story to share. We all come from different walks of life with different circumstances. Some stories are easy to share and some are very painful. God created each of us individually and customized us with different skills, colors, shapes, and sizes. Our stories are as unique as our DNA. I love to hear other peoples’ stories. I follow many blogs where people are sharing the stories of the past and the present. I want this blog to be a place where I can share my story so that others might be able to learn from my experiences.
I have been thinking a lot lately about my story. I realize that many of the stories that I currently follow have a several year head start on me. I feel that my story is still taking shape and it is fun to think that I am in the middle of my adventure presently. I want to be more intentional about sharing that here on this blog so that others can follow it and take from it what they will, but also to document for myself my thoughts and feelings in the midst of the battles and celebrations.
I hope that this translates into more transparent blog posts. My life is not all happy all the time. Sometimes I do find myself very frustrated with the things in my life, but I tend to not always blog about my struggles as much as I am willing to celebrate. Ultimately, I want to be real and authentic on this blog. I don’t want to write for attention as much as I just want to share. You may choose to respond with prayer, praise, encouragement, or even criticsicm. I want you to know the real me and hear my story when you read this blog. I want to make it as raw and unflitered as I possibly can.
This will be a great challenge for me because I do not like to admit struggle and weakness, but I am determined to take this blog to another level. I will ask for your prayers that I might be able to share authentically and that I will be able to find focused time to write.
