I am bummed because the Groundhog saw his shadow and decided there would be 6 more weeks of Winter. I don’t know what an early Spring looks like, but it sure would be nice for a change.
We had an extremely busy weekend again. Friday was a day off work for me because we were supposed to have a meeting with Ephriam’s teachers, but school was cancelled, so no meeting. Faith got more sleep that way and I was able to continue the major organizational project in the basement. Our small group met on Friday night and that was a good time.
Saturday we made a trip to IKEA and bought the first of many bookshelves to help us get organized around our house. We have to spread out the cost a little as we tackle each problem area in our house of clutter. I managed to put the shelf together in about a half hour while everyone else napped. Faith then made dinner while I played musical furniture and entertained the kids. Then off to VCC for church. The kids crashed after church and I played a little more musical furniture and had a little while to actually spend some quality time with Faith.
Sunday I was back at church to serve at VSU and then we all went out to lunch for some Marco’s Pizza. More naps followed for everyone while I unwired and rewired the surround sound in the basement. We then headed to my parents’ house for some deep fried turkey dinner. Faith and the kids hung out there for the Super Bowl while I went to VSU for the Super Party Bowl Party thing. Got to hang out with some peeps and laugh at the commercials. Picked up Faith and the kids and returned home where the kids promptly crashed again. I watched the special hour episode of The Office and stayed up later than I wanted.
Where does the time go?

I would love to ONLY have 6 more weeks of winter. Hopefully only 3-4 more years before we can move back to the midwest.
I am really glad that I don't live in Vermont, but I think that I could still deal with living further south than Cincinnati.
