One Life – The Financial Life

I was out of town last weekend so I missed church at VCC, but was able finally catch up on the Internet last night.  Dave spoke last week on the Financial Life.

Money is not a popular topic.  People fight about it.  Ministries are always asking for it.  We always want more of it.  Money causes a lot of stress.  I often find myself worried about money, but have improved a lot in that department.  Most of the time I worry when my plan for my money doesn’t work out the way I want it to.  There is my problem.  My money?  Don’t think so.  Its God’s money and he is letting me manage a little bit of it here and it helps me to cover my expenses.

I have watched God come through in times of financial need.  Honestly, I get impatient because we are working very hard at digging ourselves out of debt.  I want the shovel to be bigger, but for now I have to work with what I have been given.

Luke 12: 24-34 – Don’t worry.  God has your back.  He has an interest free bailout plan.
