I am trying to get back into the blogging groove after a short weekend break while we celebrated our last Christmas gathering in Louisville. I was also on a mandatory disconnect for the first 4 hours of Bauer in the double night season premier of 24.
Louisville was a good time. We spent the weekend at a Residence Inn with Faith’s family. The hotel room has a living area and kitchen with 2 separate bedrooms. We decorate the hotel room and setup a little Christmas tree. It is a pretty cool deal. We pick Louisville because it is the closest thing to half way between Cincy and Nashville and we can all meet there. We just pray for good weather every year since we typically do this in January after all of the chaos is over. We took the kids to the pool at the hotel too and they had a blast, not to mention that they were spoiled with presents. I have yet to find time to pull pictures off of the camera, but will post those soon. We also took the kids to their first movie in a theater while we were there and they loved it. The only downer of the weekend was K.C. getting sick on Saturday evening, but it wasn’t too terrible. Faith did a good job of handling that and I was trying to ignore it so that I could enjoy the awesomeness of my Penn Station Sub.
Jack Bauer is the man!! If you do not watch 24, you should catch up now and start watching it. I am glad that the premier is done because 2 hours of tv at night really kills anything else I could or should be doing.
Here is to a good week of blogging and getting back into some sort of routine. Ready for everyone to be healthy again.
