I was just reading about the latest investigation by the International Olympics Committee to determine if Chinese Authorities lied and covered up the true age of Gold Medalist He Kexin. I have to admit that the wonderful little gymnast looks extremely young for 16 years of age. She even looks very young compared to other gymnasts competing in the Olympics. At first this seemed like any other Olympic controversy, but then I remembered watching my friends play in the Little League World Series when I was 12. It always seems that the Chinese Little League Players all had mustaches. It really bothers me when people try to cheat in sporting events. When the steroid issue started to become a major issue with professional sports, I really started to lose faith in the professional athlete. I used to look up to them like superheroes, but now sometimes I just have to wonder if they are all just a bunch of cheaters. It is a shame to see Olympic Athletes cheating especially with the support of their own country. I guess we will see what comes of the He Kexin investigation. I also figure we may see her competing in the next 3 Summer Olympics. We’ll see how old she is then.
