Key Verse John 13:34-35: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Question for Reflections: How are you doing at loving the people around you? Would a random stranger who watches the way you treat your brothers and sisters be immediately convinced that you are a follow of Jesus? In what ways can you show love to the people around you?
I like to think that I do a good job of loving those around me. I love to take care of those close to me and help them with anything that they need. I don’t expect anything in return because my friends and family have done so much for me.
I hope that the outside observer would notice that I love those around me. My biggest struggle is that I don’t always look for ways to love those around me. Some things go unnoticed when I am rushing around doing life. I am sure that there are more things that I can do to serve those around me.
